CES 2018: MusicLens Bluetooth Sunglasses with Bone Conduction Technology First Look | Digit.in
MusicLens are bluetooth sunglasses that have tiny inbuilt speakers in the arms that allow you to listen to music through bone conduction technology while keeping your ears free to listen to other ambient sounds. The sunglasses have Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity to pair with your smartphone, 32GB inbuilt storage for music, and the company claims the battery lasts for around 12 hours after which the MusicLens sunglasses can be recharged again via a USB Type-C connector.
The MusicLens glasses will come in a variety of colour options and the company claims they can be customised for prescription lenses, or fluorescent ones for nightclubbing. The MusicLens sunglasses are planned to go on sale in the second half of 2018, and its estimated that it will cost around $199.
So will MusicLens succeed in merging headphones with glasses? Or will they go the way of Snap that combined cameras with glasses for avid Snapchatters? Time will tell.
